The specific services to be provided will be agreed upon between you and Nielson Family Window Cleaning prior to commencement of work.

3. Scheduling and Appointments

3.1 Booking Services

Services can be booked through our Website, by phone at (816) 283-6572, or by email at eliannahayes@nielsonfamlwc.com. All bookings are subject to availability.

3.2 Cancellations and Rescheduling

We understand that circumstances may change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 25% of the quoted service price.

3.3 Weather Conditions

Window cleaning services are weather-dependent. Nielson Family Window Cleaning reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to inclement weather conditions including but not limited to heavy rain, snow, high winds, or extreme temperatures that may affect the quality of service or pose safety risks.

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1 Quotes and Estimates

Quotes provided are based on information supplied by you and our assessment of the property. Final pricing may vary if the actual conditions differ from those described or observed during the initial assessment.

4.2 Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. For commercial clients with ongoing service agreements, payment terms will be specified in the service contract.

4.3 Accepted Payment Methods

We accept cash, checks, credit cards, and electronic payments. A receipt will be provided upon request.

4.4 Late Payments

Payments not received within 30 days of service completion may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.

5. Service Guarantees and Limitations

5.1 Satisfaction Guarantee

Nielson Family Window Cleaning stands behind the quality of our work. If you are not completely satisfied with our services, please notify us within 48 hours of service completion, and we will return to address any issues at no additional cost.

5.2 Rain Policy

If it rains within 24 hours after we clean your windows, we will return to touch up the affected exterior windows at no additional charge. This guarantee must be claimed within 48 hours of the rainfall.

5.3 Limitations

Our satisfaction guarantee and rain policy do not cover:

  • Interior windows affected by condensation
  • Windows that become dirty due to construction, painting, or other work performed after our service
  • Pre-existing damage or defects in windows
  • Stains that were identified as potentially permanent during the initial assessment

6. Property Access and Preparation

You agree to provide Nielson Family Window Cleaning with reasonable access to all areas requiring service. This includes:

  • Ensuring clear access to windows (moving furniture, plants, or decorations as needed)
  • Securing pets in a safe area away from work zones
  • Providing access to water and electrical outlets if required
  • Being present or arranging for a representative to be present if required for property access

Failure to provide necessary access may result in an incomplete service and additional charges may apply for return visits.

7. Liability and Insurance

7.1 Insurance Coverage

Nielson Family Window Cleaning maintains comprehensive general liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance. Proof of insurance is available upon request.

7.2 Property Damage

In the rare event that damage occurs as a direct result of our services, please notify us within 48 hours of service completion. We will assess the damage and, if determined to be caused by our work, will arrange for repair or compensation.

7.3 Pre-existing Conditions

Nielson Family Window Cleaning is not responsible for pre-existing property conditions including but not limited to:

  • Damaged or defective windows, screens, or frames
  • Improperly installed windows
  • Scratched glass or other pre-existing damage
  • Paint or other materials on windows

We will make reasonable efforts to identify and inform you of any pre-existing issues before beginning work.

7.4 Limitation of Liability

Nielson Family Window Cleaning's liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
